Empowering MSMEs Through Tailored Business Support

The Casablanca-Settat Regional Investment Center (CRI-CS) places business support at the heart of its regional economic development strategy. Through an integrated support offering, the Center provides strategic advice, technical assistance, capacity building, business networking, information and guidance to help micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) strengthen their competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth.

In December 2020, CRI-CS launched QIMAM, a six-month business support programme designed to help regional MSMEs unlock their growth potential through a structured and hands-on support journey.

The programme is built around three complementary pillars:

●  Tailored Business Advisory: Each participating company begins with a diagnostic assessment to identify its strengths, challenges and growth opportunities. Based on this assessment, businesses receive customised advisory services, mentoring, information sessions and training tailored to their specific needs.
●  Boot Camps: Expert-led intensive workshops provide entrepreneurs with practical tools, strategic insights and managerial skills to address real business challenges. The most promising participants are selected to benefit from an enhanced support pathway.
●  Networking and Business Connections: The programme facilitates access to strategic partners, business networks and collaboration opportunities, helping entrepreneurs expand their professional ecosystem and create new business opportunities.

Since its launch, QIMAM has continued to expand its reach and impact. Across four editions, the programme has supported more than 550 businesses, contributed to the creation of over 750 jobs, and generated more than MAD 18 million in turnover.
These results highlight the programme's ability to provide structured, practical and tailored support that addresses the development needs of regional MSMEs while delivering measurable economic outcomes.
