Beside its new position as an urban pole endowed with a diversified offer combined with a set of high-quality services and infrastructures, Nouaceur enjoys an important strategic position able to attract tourists and investors, both nationals and foreigners.
Nouaceur's history with the aerospace industry dates back to the 1950s when an airbase of the US Air Forces Strategic Air Command (SAC), was established in its territory. This airbase was also used by the French Air Forces up to 1959 under the name “Airbase 200”.
After Morocco's independence, this infrastructure was reused for the rehabilitation of the Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport and, starting from 2000, was the prelude to the birth of today's strong aerospace industry considered as one of the best success stories of Moroccan industry.
